At Snow Camps Europe, we believe one thing above all else:
You can’t improve what you don’t understand.
That’s why we’ve developed not one, but two different assessments, each designed for a specific purpose in your skiing journey.
While they might seem similar on the surface, they serve very different roles, and together, they create a powerful system
to help you improve with clarity and direction.
The Numbers Behind the Assessments
67+ million possible answer combinations in Skier Insights
24-question structured analysis in Ski Progress
243 unique skier profiles created from your results
All designed to give you something most skiers never get:
clarity.
The Skier Insights Assessment
Your starting point, wherever you are.
The Skier Insights Assessment is designed for all recreational skiers.
Whether you’ve just started your skiing journey or you’re an experienced holiday skier, this assessment helps you answer one key question:
“What’s actually holding my skiing back?”
It takes just a couple of minutes to complete, but behind the scenes, it analyses over 67 million possible answer combinations to give you a clear breakdown across five key areas:
Cautious Skier
Plateaued Skier
Inconsistent Skier
Social Improver
Mileage-Ready Skier
Your results are then distilled into one of 243 unique skier profiles, giving you a clear and personalised understanding of your skiing.
Because in reality, most skiers don’t struggle due to a lack of ability; they struggle because they don’t have the right direction.
The Skier Insights Assessment gives you that direction.
The Ski Progress Assessment
Before and after your camp, measure real change
While Skier Insights is for everyone, the Ski Progress Assessment is specifically designed for people attending one of our ski camps.
Its purpose is simple:
To give you a clear starting point… and show you exactly how far you’ve come.
Built from 24 carefully designed questions, each with multiple outcomes, it creates a detailed and structured picture of your skiing.
Pre-Camp Assessment
Before your camp begins, you complete the assessment to establish:
Your current strengths
Your limitations
Your baseline across key performance areas
This gives both you and your coach a clear understanding of where you are starting from.
Post-Camp Assessment
At the end of your camp, you take the assessment again.
This is where things change.
Instead of guessing whether you’ve improved, you can clearly see:
What has changed
Where you’ve progressed
How your skiing has developed
Why This Matters
Most skiers leave a ski holiday saying:
“That felt better…”
But they can’t explain why.
And without that understanding, improvements often don’t last.
Our approach is different.
Most ski camps measure time on snow. We measure progress.
We don’t just help you ski better during the week; we help you understand your skiing, so progress continues long after the camp ends.
Two Assessments. One Goal.
Although the Skier Insights Assessment and the Ski Progress Assessment serve different purposes, they are built around the same idea:
Clarity leads to better skiing.
Skier Insights shows you what’s holding you back
Ski Progress shows you how far you’ve come
Together, they remove the guesswork and replace it with something far more powerful:
Direction, confidence, and measurable progress.
Ready to Understand Your Skiing?
If you haven’t yet taken the Skier Insights Assessment, it’s the best place to start.
It takes just a couple of minutes, and it might completely change how you see your skiing.
And if you’re joining one of our ski camps, your journey doesn’t just start on the mountain…
It starts with understanding exactly where you are.
Because once you have that, everything else becomes a lot clearer.
Same Mountains. Completely Different Experience.
Because skiing more…
isn’t the same as skiing better.
