New Snow Making Cannons in Kaprun Austria

In this VLOG we look at the new Ventus 4.0 snow cannons in Kaprun . With the opening of the K-onnecction lift linking the Maiskogel to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, the need for snow until the end of the winter is greater than ever. With even more investment being made on 10 new snow cannons and associated water pipes for the ski area. Now that you will be able to take the K-onnecction back to the Maiskogel and ski down to the village of Kaprun the need for good quality snow up until Easter is needed. The Kitzsteinhorn AG has invested in 10 new Ventus 4.0 snow cannons to help with this. The Ventus 4.0 is best in class performance with only 20kw of power consumption but with a water flow of more than 9 litres.  As snow making can only take place in November, December and January they ski company will be looking to boost its snow depth to ensure skiing can continue as long as possible into the spring.
